Seriously, a flat plane V8 does not suit the character of a Mustang at all. It would be like putting a cross plane V8 in a 458.

I'm completely serious. You're going to have a bunch of American good old boys wondering why their 500hp Mustang sounds like a tarted up civic, or with the 458 a bunch of eurosnobs wondering why their perfect road car sounds like some old lazy muscle car.

For some reason I read your comment as putting a flat plane in a 458. I was kinda confused. I'd love a flat plane crank coyote in a Mustang. Personally, I want to make an all-aluminum Windsor flat plane crank v8 in my fox. With ITBs and EFI it would sound amazing.
